Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have to wear black tie?

There is no dress code but people do like to dress up for our Thursday and Saturday opera performances. Other events are much more casual. On the whole people wear whatever suits their mood or the occasion they might be celebrating.

Since you are in a rural location, will there be any problems parking?

There is a tarmac drive leading up to the theatre with a grassed area for cars to park on .
There is a covered drop off area immediately outside the main entrance where anyone with restricted mobility or delicate footwear can be dropped off. If conditions are forecast to be wet we advise you to bring water-resistant footwear and an umbrella as you are in a rural location.

Where do the performances take place?

Performances take place in our 400 seat indoor auditorium with an orchestra pit, an undercover restaurant and licensed bar with picnic tables for those wishing to bring their own food.
